Adv Orin Shefler spoke at Haifa University and presented MA students with some practical concepts for establishing an energy hub, offshore Israel for production, transmission and/or export of Natural Gas and LNG. Orin stated that in the future, it may also be possible to build offshore infrastructure for the production of green or blue hydrogen, ammonia and perhaps even for generating electricity based on renewable energy sources at sea. Undoubtably, zero emission targets will be factors when approving future FDPs following the conclusion of an upcoming Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) commissioned by Israel's Ministry of Energy". There is a lot to look forward to!
